CMP has quays for cruise ships at central locations in both Copenhagen and Malmö.
Copenhagen
- Water depth upto 10,0 m depending on quay-location
- LOA, beam and air draft – no limitation
- Tug, non-compulsory
- CMP will recommend Cruise vessels with a draft more than 6 meters to use pilot
- Capacity – quays; Nordre Toldbod: 200 m, Langelinie: 710 m, Kronløbsbassinet: 300 + 250 m, Orientkaj: 525 m, Levantkaj: 400 m
Nordre Toldbod
Approximately 200 metres of quay. There is space for one ship with a maximum draught of 6 metres.
Langelinie
Approximately 710 metres of quay. There is space for from two to five ships, depending on their length and draught. The water depth at the southern end is 9.1 metres. The northernmost 345 metres of quay (from bollard no. 32 and northwards) has a water depth of 10 metres.
Freeport
Fortkaj (quay 243) Approximately 210 metres of quay with a depth of 9.5 metres. There is space for one ship.
Sundkaj (quay 245) Approximately 270 metres of quay with a water depth of 9.5 metres. There is space for one ship.
Orientkaj (quay 252 – 254) Approximately 525 metres of quay with a water depth of 9.5 metres. There is normally space for one big ship, or two middle size ships, depending on their length.
Levantkaj (quay 266) Approximately 400 metres of quay with a depth of 9,5 metres. There is space for one ship.
Malmö
- Water depth, upto 9.1 m (draft 8.6) depending on quay-location
- LOA, max 240 m
- Beam, max 32,5 m
- Air draft, no limitation
- Tug, on pilot’s request
- Pilotage, compulsory for ships exceeding 90 m LOA
- Capacity – quays; Frihamns kajen: 500 m, Västra hamnen: 150 m
Frihamnen
Frihamns Kajen (quay 602) Approximately 500 metres of quay – However max loa 240 metres. Water depth of 9,1 metres. Beam max. 32,5 metres.
Västra Hamnen
Krankaj (quay 31) Approximately 150 metres of quay with a water depth of 7,20 metres. Beam max. 32,5 metres.
