Pre-tax profit was in 2010 SEK 116 million. Net sales amounted to SEK 675 million. Profit and net sales have increased significantly since opening of CMP in 2001.

As a transport and logistics company, CMP is directly affected by fluctuations in demand. The shift in the economic climate was first noted in 2007, in the form of decreasing turnover in new cars. More or less all business areas have subsequently felt the effects of the economic downturn.

Financial Performance

Forecast 2011
The forecast for 2011 is under influence by the financial crises. CMP expects the revenue to be the same as 2010. The port activities are still on at low level. CMP expects the result 2011 to be a little better than 2010 because the company is right sized for the coming year. Over the next year’s CMP expects the revenue to grow because a new and modern port will be opened in 2011. The new terminals have an efficient infrastructure and will provide costumers and industry with great opportunities for growth and expansion.
