CMP’s sustainability reporting

For the first time, Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) is publishing a sustainability report. Sustainability perspectives have long been a natural part of CMP’s operations and they are constantly included in the debate, in the industry and in society in general. This is true for environmental and social issues as well as social responsibility. We have collected our most important work in a report.

For CMP there are profitability aspects to working with sustainability. A concrete example is how CMP calculates new investments in maintenance operations. Our experience clearly shows that it is often profitable to invest in long-term, preventative solutions.

“Even though CMP has worked with sustainability issues for a long time, we want to go even further in our efforts. The operations are characterised by our values; respect, ambition and community, and this also applies to our sustainability efforts, where we do our utmost, by ourselves and together with customers and partners, to find efficient and sustainable solutions. With this sustainability report we want to show that CMP is a progressive organisation which constantly considers sustainability aspects business, social and environmental matters. This is how we make a difference and ensure that sustainability is part of our everyday work,” says Barbara Scheel Agersnap, CEO of Copenhagen Malmö Port.
