Last weekend, the first electricity-powered buses from Chinese BYD were unloaded at CMP's vehicle terminal in Malmö. The deliveries are the result of cooperation between CMP and BYD that was initiated earlier this year.

CMP has signed an agreement with the Chinese company BYD, the world leader in the manufacture of electric powered vehicles. The agreement paves the way for a wide-ranging collaboration in the future. BYD will deliver the first electric powered buses to customers in Sweden in the autumn. These buses will be unloaded at CMP in Malmö.

Barbara Scheel Agersnap comes from a position as Executive Director at Innovation Centre Denmark in Shanghai, China. She will take up her new position on 1 June 2015.

Copenhagen Malmö Port, CMP, is engaged in a new collaboration to increase freight traffic by train to and from Northern Harbour. The new train service starts from the Netherlands and serves Malmö three times a week. The collaboration strengthens CMP’s role as a hub for freight handling in Southern Sweden.
