A focal point in everything we do
Sustainability
CMP shall have a development that is environmentally, economically and socially sustainable. Constantly striving to develop as a sustainable port, CMP wishes to contribute to UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Read below or take a look into our yearly sustainability report to learn more about our actions.
Environment
CMP’s work on sustainable development is focused on noise pollution, emissions, waste, energy consumption and climate adaption, emphasizing a port and city in harmony. Through partnerships with actors in the maritime ecosystem, CMP has strong ambitions on making the blue industry greener.
Social
In the social perspective, we focus primarily on our employees and how we ensure that we have competent, healthy and prosperous colleagues who thrive at CMP.
Economy
In the economic dimension of sustainability, we have identified our economic value creation, the indirect socioeconomic impact that arises from our activities.
SDG 13
In Swede Harbour, Malmö, we have replaced diesel fuel with HVO as a way to reduce our impact on the environment.
SDG 9
In Malmö, we conduct the inspection of our quays from above, using a drone.
