By mid-2025 it will be operational – Copenhagen’s new container terminal. This will be a state-ofthe-art facility where the key words are sustainable and efficient handling. The benefits for the region are clear, as CMP’s terminal ensures the secure flow of goods to the whole of Zealand.

At a groundbreaking event with Lord Mayor of Copenhagen, Sophie Hæstorp Andersen, CEO By & Havn (Copenhagen City and Port Development Agency) Anne Skovbro, CEO CMP Barbara Scheel Agersnap in May 2024, the construction works for the shore power facilities at Oceankaj and Langelinie in Copenhagen commenced.

In connection with Copenhagen Malmö Port moving the container terminal in Copenhagen from Levantkaj to Ydre Nordhavn next year, CMP’s office will also relocate. A brand new Harbour House will be established in the new area adjacent to the new container terminal.

Our container operations functions as an import and export port for both Copenhagen and Malmö and its regions.
